For this week’s episode, we go back to where it all began: Episode 1 with Burnie Burns.

It’s only appropriate to re-post the Burnie Burns episode, which kicked this whole thing off. Burnie’s company Rooster Teeth is an online video and media juggernaut. He is an inspiration to me, and so many other creators in the current media space. He was the perfect first guest and I couldn’t be happier to have him book-end this first year of shows.

As evidence of his reach and influence here, other online creators like Barbara Dunkelman (who works at Rooster Teeth), Freddie Wong, and Shira Lazar all mentioned Burnie during their own appearances on The Influencer Economy.
